Retreat To Learn and Develop Yourself - Comedian Smith Barinua Tells Employees With The Mindset of Becoming a Boss

In the early hours of this morning, the hilarious comedian, Smith Barinua, shared on his Facebook timeline a JPEG file which contain a piece of writing that goes thus "How can Nigeria be at peace when everybody want to be boss" . In a chat with the comedian, he made it clear that before anyone could think of becoming a "Boss" he must have undergone the process of becoming a "Boss". In the 21st Century, it has been observed that most employees, particularly in the private sectors, have become slaves overnight to their so called Bosses. The comedian in a chat with RhemaCity , debunked this truth seeing it as a myth. He said, Everything has process. You learn to earn, you don't earn to learn. I quite agree with him but in the process of learning to earn, most employees or apprentice learn the worst trait that's killing our country today. Although, he never shed any light on that.

On the issue of most employers treating their employees as slaves, he strongly advised that the employees should learn to develop themselves as this is the only way to gain the respect of their employers. He further stated in his last words that " personal development equals value, they should have personal retreat to learn and develop themselves " as this will be a propelling force for reverence in the sight of their bosses.
