Have You Considered Your Fans? - A Die-Hard Fan Writes An Open Letter To Bukwild Da Ikwerrian

Mr Fisherman's Die-hard fan have taken it upon himself to write to him how he feels about his (DA Ikwerrian) kind of music. The fan pleaded anonymous having approached the Admin of RhemaCity Blog. In his words, He said, "I strongly believe this Open Letter would get to him as every means of reaching him aside  social media, proved abortive".

The Letter Reads Thus;

Notwithstanding your genre of music, Afro-Hyration. Your emergence into the Nigeria Music Industry have made me to understand the beauty of being indigenous. It takes one who really understand the potency domiciled in his mother tongue to be committed to the art of exploring it to the world. Sir, right from the first time I came to the knowledge of your music, or I better put it this way, your brand, I have come to believe the saying that "when raw talent is mixed and voiced in a mother tongue, the expression from those who are opportune to listen to or watch the art knows no bound".

I have followed you all these years and we ( I say we because I believe I am speaking the mind of many) are proud of you. Unlike the likes of Duncan Mighty, Wancozy, Maxi Choco Milo, Young Stunna, amidst others, your tune is exceptional and it is quite pleasing to the mind and soul. Do not misunderstand me, ain't saying these guys I mentioned are not good. They are representing various brands and they have proven themselves to be good representatives of these brand.

Nevertheless, I may not be aware of how far you have gone in this industry but the truth remains that am kind of having issues with your music. Not because of anything so special, neither because you stole my girlfriend, of which that's impossible, but the issue here is no other than "Language barrier". Bro.. I know you quite appreciate your origin, and it has turned to your brand. But have you ever considered your fans? Those who do not comprehend your language? Those who have never heard of your brand before? How do you pass the message across to them?

Your songs over the years, have always been pregnant with potent messages capable of renewing the minds of many. Therefore, if your songs could be this potent, how does it make an indescribable impact when the message is restricted to a particular society?

DA Ikwerrian, your brand differs from every other brands no doubts, but many persons, including me ain't benefiting from the juice that emerges from your melodious tunes. The reason isn't far fetched, there is a language barrier.

In my closing note to you, I  humbly ask that you choose to use a language that is quite understood by many, particularly when passing an important message.

Please your fans are looking forward to see you in collaboration with international stars. I believe in your strenght, I believe in your capability, I believe your brand have got all it takes to make an indescribable impact in this world of globalization.
