JAMB CRISIS: Students Turns Examination Centre Into Battle Field, See Photos!!!
As we have often heard, that life is in stages and men are in phases, these forthcoming generation that have always been looked upon by their parents and guardians, have messed up this stage of their lives as they were engaged in an unwholesome activity capable of tarnishing the goodly image their parents have taken time to build for them.
According to a reliable source, RhemaCity Blog gathered that the riot started in the early hours of this morning. The exam which was scheduled to take place by 9am at New Kings And Queens School, Agburu/Azikoro Road, Bayelsa State, was turned into a battle field as student who were prevented from gaining entry into the exam hall went beyond control to the extent of damaging properties belonging to the school management.
With no formal speech in apology for the unprecedented delay, it was reported that due to damaged computers in the centre, examinations were not conducted at the said venue right from the previous day.
This "saga" resulted to the students being prevented from gaining entry into the examination premises and the angry students in retaliation, geared themselves to the brink of exasperation. As there was no one to calm the situation, it escalated into a riot, blocking roads and eventually, they broke through the school premises.
To a large extent the security personnels were able to calm the situation despite the losses.
