"MY EVOLVE CONCERT EXPERIENCE, HOW KOBABA STOLE MY HEART" - Roy Clintson

The self-acclaimed honorable Commissioner for disturbance, Rivers State, in person of ROY CLINTSON, has taken it upon himself to share his heart felt feelings toward his experience at the just concluded "Evolve Concert". The concert which had great gospel artists in attendance was hosted by the legendary comedian, KOBaba. According to the self acclaimed commissioner, Roy Clintson, The ace comedian left some memories behind with his creative mindset during the concert.

The honourable commissioner, Roy Clintson, who is currently disturbing Port Harcourt City positively with his disturbing posts on his Facebook timeline, has this to say about his experience at the mind blowing concert.

The one thing that cannot be outsourced is Creativity.
Creativity in simple term is the ability to create. It's the use of imagination or original ideas to create something.

Note this: imagination (thinking/brainstorming) or original ideas (originality). So, it balls down to your ability to imagine, think and come up with new ideas.

I keep saying this, for you to make a difference, you just have to be different - do things differently.

We've all attended events and several gatherings. One question I love asking is, why is it that among all the performances, there is that one performer we'll all not stop talking about?
The answer is simple, he/she did what nobody else did, he was different!

Hear this:
We couldn't stop talking about the just concluded EVOLVE  CONCERT hosted by House on the Rock, Port Harcourt, to mark the grand finale of their 2018 Kingdom Word Conference.
The concert had Eben, Mike Abdul, Empraiz, Pst. Onos, Sista Mercie, Mercy Chinwo, the host choir and KObaba as the host of the highly spirited show.

Every ministration matched our expectations no doubt, but honestly the host of the night, KObaba, came out from nowhere and stole the show with his creative instinct as a comedian once again.

See, Creativity is what makes a comedian, you can't argue it.
Over the years it has been proven that a comedian at its best is a spontaneous comedian.

To be sincere, nobody expected KObaba to build a story around the evolution of the guest artistes and some members of the church, using their throwback pictures to sight how God has been faithful and how they have evolved.

HOW DID HE DO IT?

I, personally, don't know, but this is what I think: the concert was tagged 'EVOLVE', which had to do with development, transformation and upgrading. The concert also was about 95% musical, and I'm sure majority of the attendees were there to watch their favorite music artistes and probably have a good time and go back home.

Now, this is what I think KObaba did; he would have asked himself, "what do I do to key into this moment? What value can I bring other than just handling the microphone?

The answer: Create value, give them a memory they'll not forget anytime soon.

Believe me, that singular exhibition of KObaba's Creativity implanted his name/brand in the hearts of both the hosts, musicians and attendees. I mean, they never expected it and never saw it coming. They were blown away!

Do you know that Eben, Mike Adbul and Pst Emmanuel Aki-Cobhams had lot of questions to answer about the improvement and even had to throw a special Thanksgiving party, appreciating God's faithfulness.

Who made this happen? 'KObaba
Who is he? 'A Comedian'
How did he do it? 'Creativity via his jokes'

Each time he came on stage, the curiosity was high and he definitely threw out the laughter and excitement from the guests with his composition of those photos.

Now, this is one major reason why his face is everywhere. He has what everybody is looking for, "value".

The gentleman is not just clean and classy, he is also creative and charismatic. He has a good sense of humor and coordination when he is working as a compere, that's obviously what most comedians lack.

I like to say to him to keep the  flame and I don't mind him continuing from where he stopped the next time he has the opportunity to anchor at the House on the Rock or any other place I will be attending a concert.
