INTERVIEW: Port Harcourt Industry Has Enough Potential Which Is Underrated By Port-Harcourt People - Natural (Henry Alfred)
The issue of the industry being underrated by the people domiciled in the city has overtime been an issue of contention to most entertainers in the city of Port Harcourt. Most of the top entertainment analysts in Port Harcourt have kept clamoring for an end of this art of disregard. Some entertainers outside the city of Port Harcourt, have explicitly revealed the fact that Port Harcourt entertainers are truly talented but her residents are completely ignorant of this fact.
While some have attributed this cause to be the "unbranded product" of the artist, Henry Alfred a Port Harcourt born, Lagos based Artist/Music Producer popularly known as Natural has come out to say during an interview with Rhemacity Blog, that the industry in Port Harcourt is where it is today simply because her indigenes have failed to recognize the industry's competence.

I'm from Omoku in Rivers State. Born on 2oth November.
I'm From a family of three, I Studied Electrical / Electronics Engineering at the Rivers State University.
How was growing like for you?
Growing up wasn't much of fun to me because i grew up in Diobu and I had to do everything on my own, had no friend because my parents had this bad Impression about diobu neighbourhood, I began to mingle with other persons as regards the music Industry as I came in and started my Music Career in Early 2000.
You started your music career in 2000, since then what has been your achievements?
Started as an apprentice at a music studio in Port Harcourt... till 2005 when I had to move to Imo State to Learn how to produce music at Cally Factory Owerri, former Blaze Studio. Came back to Port Harcourt in 2010 and formed a Band of four ( Candy City Entertainment) with me as the producer. This ran till 2013 when I established a Record Label (Music House Group) which have been.
And also a Contract Producer of Invisible Xang (Lagos & Barcelona, Spain)
You seem to have put all your efforts into music, what do you think about the future with this career?
Apart from Music... I'm also an Engineer by Education.. and a Programmer
I've got plans of Combining my Music Career as a Producer and manager with my Profession as an Engineer
You seem not to be steady in Port Harcourt, where exactly are you based?
Port Harcourt is my hood.. but Work more in Lagos..
So how can you rate the industry in Lagos compare to Port Harcourt?
Well, the Port Harcourt Industry has enough potential which is underrated by Port Harcourt People. So it's a believe that you can't make it high as an entertainer in Port Harcourt. So they see the Lagos entertainers as superior and from the mindset it all began. Which has made The Lagos industry Superior to Port Harcourt .
Is that the reason why you're focused on promoting your art in Lagos?
If Promotions are made from Port Harcourt, it's quite limited due to the fact that Port Harcourt Promoter don't usually work as a result of love of fund and pride.
But Lagos Promoters are united and work almost together.
In that case, you decided to leave Your city? How about making a change in this city based on your experience in Lagos?
You'll consider changing a place by changing the people's mindset in it... when the people have made up their minds, you just have no option.. but I believe that someday with the influence of some Port Harcourt Entertainers we'll acheive what we should .
Ok tell us about your relationship life, are you seeing someone?
Due to my instability at a particular region, I find it difficult to maintain a relationship... tho am not searching., the right person is already somewhere for me. It seems unbelievable to the public.
But you all know Reekado Banks is single.. so he said.
Your song promo is widely accepted in Lagos, what inspired the song?
Promo is a song inspired by Mayorkun's song "Mama" .
When Mayorkun was about to record "Mama" Davido made a video On Snapchat anticipating the song. That's how I heard Mama's freestyle by Davido for the first time and decided to do something like it. But it came out sounding in the "Runtown way " ... so decided to promote it in Lagos which is the same region where mama was promoted .
Ok. So where do you see yourself three years from now?
Three years from now; I see my brand flourishing.. hitting local and international Collaborations.
Woow great one. So you seem to be established, what's your advice to your home based artists?
When you say establishment. That's something I'm still hustling for... I've not attained what I want yet even at this level.
I'll advice the home base artists to keep the hustle consistent.. the industry is very competitive .
Okay thank you so much. your last words to your fans?
I love and respect every one of you guys... there's actually no me without you.
