Many Comedians Are Fake - Paps Kay Comedian Grinds
Rhemacity Blog was opportune to have an unprecedented chat with this humorous comedian popularly known by his stage name, Paps Kay. In course of the chat, Paps Kay, as he is fondly called, made a striking statement of which the government of the day is completely ignorant of. Unlike the government of other countries, Paps Kay made it explicit that the government of the day is not friendly when it comes to comedians joking with their personality. According to him, he said, "many comedians have been silenced and the government do not know that they could use them to drive a message across to the public. With the art of the comedian, the message becomes easily understood and it will be acted upon, simply because of the comedian's personality". He went further to say that, "Comedians have the license to talk and get away with it".
On the other hand, Paps Kay, expressed his grievance by calling many of his colleagues in the industry fake. He said, "they don't know what it means to be a comedian" He gave a scenery of what happened few days ago in a club he had visted. According to him, a junior colleague saw him, with great excitement, he approached him (Paps Kay) to pay homage. But the disgusting part of this meeting, according to Paps Kay was, the young comedian revealed how broke he was, claiming he had nothing on him to show love to his senior colleague (Paps Kay) whom he met that faithful night.
This art however, aggravated the intense feeling Paps Kay has toward many upcoming comedians which led to him calling them fake. "Many comedians are fake", he said. "They go about flaunting fake personality on social media which obviously would not be of any help to them".
It is believed that these words of his must have originated from a past experience he might have had with someone.
