Dale Carnegie thought me this four tips that I'll be sharing with you guys today.
So many people actually find it very difficult to stand up and speak in public due to several excuses like stage freight to inferiority complex, fear of making mistakes and the list just goes on while for some the desire to speak and make people listen and also create influence is just there but they can't just get it started. Now If you're one of such kind I'll advise you try these tips I'm about to leave.
1. Start with a strong and persistent desire:
Get in the line where your desire to speak like Martin Luther King becomes strong. Think about the benefits and how fulfilled you will be.
2. Know what you want to talk about:
Have a full knowledge of what you're going to talk about. Read on the subject matter, research if necessary. Get facts and know what you will be talking on. Don't introduce something that you have little knowledge about.
3. Act Confident:
You don't get in front of people and advertise a shaking lips or dancing hands. You put up a face that portrays confident. Speak with courage Dale Carnegie will say "Look your audience straight in the eyes, and begin to talk as confidently as if every one of them owed you money and imagine that they have assembled to beg you for an extension of credit ". Act Confident.
4. Final tip would be Practice:
practice makes perfect that's the old sentence we've been hearing.
The more you seek opportunities to practice the better you become. practice with yourself, practice speaking to your family members, practice speaking to friends. keep the ball rolling. Ask for opportunities in little events and just keep on the practice you never can tell the best speeches and impact you will make.
