The Suspended Queen Oroma Shedrack |
It is no longer news that most individuals who are privileged to sign a contract with a dignified body end up breaching the contract in spite of the promises that accompany the signing of the contract. This has become an issue of concern to most companies in the city of our domicile as they claim to be afraid of such act by one who signed the contract.
The case is not different for the 2017/2018 Miss Port Harcourt City, Queen Oroma Shedrack whose contract was suspended due to circumstances beyond her control. The reason for which her prestigious position as Miss Port Harcourt City was suspended is yet to be confirmed by the organisers of the pageantry. While efforts to reach the suspended Queen proved abortive, Rhemacity Blog was privileged to speak with Her manager via telecommunication.
In a telephone conversation with Anita, Queen Oroma Shedrack's Manager, she however confirmed the suspension pointing to the fact that the suspension will enable her sit up and learn from others. She made it explicit while affirming the suspension, that the Queen hasn't been present at various meetings held by the organisers of the pageantry.
When asked by Rhemacity Blog, what her presumed thought for the suspension might be, she said, "Her absence at meeting sessions, functions and the breaching of her contract with the Organisers of the pageantry caused it".
In Rhemacity Blog's inquisitive nature, she was asked to elucidate the part of the contract that was breached. But the Queen's manager insisted on keeping mute to this question. She deliberately refused to say anything about the breach of contract by the suspended Queen Oroma Shedrack.
Prior to this suspension, the Queen had earlier reported after much questions from Rhemacity Blog, to be preparing for her exams in one of her City's institution of learning, University Of Port Harcourt. The twenty two year-old, 400level Management Student of University Of Port Harcourt is yet to say anything about her suspension as every effort to reach her has proved abortive.
